I recently had the pleasure of meeting with Megan and Ajay, on her birthday! After light-hearted stories of how they met, a sneaky engagement, and the details of their July wedding, we ran around the block with camera in hand. It was a fun, impromptu way of getting to know each other on a more personal, and visual level.

Their wedding will be held outside at the ever so lovely, Hobbs Building in the West Bottoms. Although Hindu weddings are traditionally quite elaborate and lengthy, their wedding will be a less traditional mix of Western and Indian cultures. (I was kinda bummed to hear Ajay will not be riding in on an elephant. ;-) Here are a few images from our five-minute-walk-about.

(This was a fun find: Free stuff set out on the curb! Something that isn’t normally requested as a portrait destination, but it was a great place to play.)
