Aids Walk Kansas City

Bridget just told me about this fashion show on Thursday. Check out the site at http://www.redlinekc.com This is a benefit where all proceeds go towards AIDS Walk Kansas City. What is also alluring is that is is free admission. (Must be 21 and over)

This will be held at the event space NARA just a few blocks from our studio at 1617 Main. Among others will be Janay-A (custom kansas city wedding dress designer as well as talented fashion designer) and Scarlet Garnet hand-made jewelry designer. (I’ve had the pleasure of meeting these talented gals at previous get togethers.)

Do come check out this Crossroads event. There’ll be some wonderful pieces available for a worthy cause!

Seems I’ve got some catching up to do on the design end of things, as far as posting goes. Last month, we had the opportunity of working with Friends of the River Market here in Kansas City. I got to design their poster for the artfest this year and enjoyed every minute of it. Sadly, I haven’t worked on posters in awhile, so it was a welcomed change of format for me. The bold color combinations were exciting to work with and I loved how they all turned out. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the Fifth Annual Artfest!
